software.je (lower case "s") is a software development company that operates solely in the island of Jersey, off the coast of England. The .je suffix of the company name relates to the .je domain name for Jersey.

The company has been operating for over 20 years and they pride themselves on good customer service and getting the job done. They have strong traditional values and believe in simple, straight forward solutions. They require their new logo to:

Contain the name of the company "software.je" in a clean clear font
Portray the professional nature of business
Be simple with not too much going on
Be traditional - not too modern looking, abstract
Portray the technical nature of the business
Easy to read (even when printed small)

Colour scheme:
Blues - perhaps one dark and one lighter blue? But the client is flexible

Potential images to include:
- Incorporate outline of Jersey island OR
- Things relating to data, databases (keep them simple, perhaps a data silo?)

Included are some files showing some rough ideas and the Jersey map outline.
