Contest Brief

PREMIUM with personality, minus 'stuffy'.
The current logo does have the capability of being modified into a premium logo.

I quite like the icon.. The curved shapes are an effective way to convey the words "inspire" and "desire" . The typeface could probably have more of an impact. I think it needs to be slightly thicker type and larger spacing between lettering. At the moment it looks a little too congested. I suggest looking on places like pinterest for inspiration for type.
I don't entirely like the brown background combined with the gold colour either. I would suggest asking designers to give multiple colour combinations just so you have a few different options.
Also ask the designers not to use gradients when using colour. You can probably see in the gold colour that there are numerous shades of colour that gives a gold type effect. Applying gradients can work in certain situations but I don't think an online business is one of them.

Ultimately, looking for PREMIUM design with personality, but without being 'stuffy'.

    Same looking logos are getting 5 stars, because they're listening to what I'm asking and sticking to my ideal colour scheme, icon size, and font spacing. Now, the best entries will be the ones that fine-tune on this ideal template. Hint- I think who-ever comes up with the most minimalist, clean, and premium looking font will be in pole position, thanks.
