I am starting a business selling quirky products - stuff for adults who have a sense of fun. The premise is that kids learn through play, and I believe grown-ups can too. :) I'm designing fun little products that encourage people to try something playfully different.
I need a logo that's very simple, and reflects this ethos, ideally hand drawn, hand written, outsider-art style - as in the attached file. If someone could design a bit more professional version of the file attached that might well work. I don't need a polished professional look - I don't think it conveys fun as well. I'm not looking for complex pictures/icons. And I have no clear plan for colours - anything goes!
This is highly likely to lead to more work, as I will need further design work for each product. I'd be happy to develop a relationship with someone and work with them in future.

Thanks to all entrants in the contest. It was very difficult to pick a winner. Well done to DevelopingTech, I liked the way his design was playful and with that handdrawn kind of feel I liked, but also intricate enough to stand out.
As I said I will have future design work, and noted a few great designers on here - so if you didn't win maybe we will still work together at some point in the future. :)
Thanks again to everyone who entered - I'll recommend freelancer contests to my friends - this was fun!

Thanks for all the excellent entries. I'm overwhelmed by how many brilliant designs there are. It's been just great to see so many people interpret this idea and share their art. But I feel I have more than enough designs to choose from now.
I've narrowed the choice down to just a few very strong entries. I'll take a day or two to think it over. I'll make the choice on or before Saturday when the contest closes.
Also, I just wanted to say if I didn't like your design it's not necessarily a reflection on your work. I rejected some that were just great - only somehow they didn't fit the idea in my head. Also, I've spotted a few talents I'll be seeking out for future projects. I can only afford to pick one winner (sorry! wish I could pick a few!) but I will definitely have future design work, and I've noticed some of you guys who I'm likely to contact about that.

Really like the design, like the font too - just not quite what I had in mind for this project. I'm trying for a more hand drawn feel. I've just written that I don't need any more entries - but I've been impressed with your work and enthusiasm. Thanks so much for entering. :)

Really like this #224 design. A few other designs have used a blue-grey, like the blue of http://www.freelancer.com/contest/Design-a-Logo-for-Curious-Fun--39772-byentry-1831661.html I wonder if that would work? Perhaps with a shade of orange? So far I'm thinking grey/orange, dark blue/orange or this cool blue/grey.
