My website is a start-up Time and Attendance company that is looking to reveal ourselves to the world shortly. This means that I need a logo...an identity really. I'm looking for a logo that is powerful and stands out among the crowd. I am going to need all the artwork and designs to be your own work since I will be trademarking this logo. The winner of this project will automatically get the follow up projects for my letterhead, business cards, Marketing Materials, and an offer to look at the app beforehand to redesign some of those icons.
About our company Cloud Punched Inc.
We have developed a cloud based time and attendance system that will take advantage of the power of the web, smartphones, and standard telephone lines. As a company we are focused on ease of use and efficiency through advanced design, and innovative concepts. With that in mind I am not looking for a plain boring corporate logo, but something that is fun, makes someone think "What is Cloud Punched?" so that they will look at our website. Something that catches the eye and says we are not the same old boring outdated punch clock or overprices kronos systems that are out there.
I am open to questions but due to the fact that I have not launched the website yet I cannot give access to our system yet.

Just a heads up to the contest holder the abbreviation "cp" has some pretty negative connotations on the internet. If you google "what does cp mean?" and check the first result you may be shocked. I would consider having the winner take out that abbreviation, as it could present an issue with future marketing. I always do an internet search before using any acronyms to see if there are any existing negative meanings. Best of luck thanks again for the opportunity.

With so many different designs and such mixed opinions between me and my partners, We have decided that we will be narrowing it down to just 5 designs. 1 design per partner and will go from there. I realize that this is not ideal, but there has been a great deal of mixed opinions with so many incredible designs submitted. From those 5 we will decide on 1 winner and potentially a follow up if we cannot get a clear consensus on the winner.

This is my first job posting to freelancer. Would you be able to tell me how? I could not find the option. If there is no way I will try to convince the rest of my partners to leave it running for the duration and if they like more than one just make an offer to the designers of the other logo's they like. Believe me when I say that this is not to make anyone feel left out, but with almost each new submission they feel that they have found the logo they have been searching for.

The prize has been guaranteed. I was not willing to do that until I looked at other logo contests to see what sort of logo's were produced. I didn't want to end up paying for a stick figure, or a some other image a 5 year old could make... Looks like that's not the case here on this site. lol

It has been decided that any logo that is going to be considered will have to work on a white background. Those of you designing a logo that has a colored background will not be considered.

I have reviewed 3 and 4, but unfortunately I had to reject option 4 right away since, this is a contest for the logo only, and the other projects will be like a secondary prize to the winner. That being said I cannot consider any entries for letterhead, business cards, etc... I am just looking for the logo. I have left feedback with both postings.
