I am launching a new business in area of solar energy. Online presence will be one of the important ways of reaching out to potential clients. This is a B2B business. I have registered www.solar-kart.com as the domain name on lines of popular ecommerce portal Flipkart.com.

I need to get a logo and a tagline. The tagline should be part of logo. Some details of the business :

1. It is online B2B business
2. it deals in solar energy

I will provide more details to the shortlisted vendors. Bidders should share atleast 3 examples of the work they have done in logo designing.

the last message was just an idea and i am open to other possibilities as well. Pls. refer to logo of "Flipkart" where the name is part of the logo and logo is designed around the name

One possibility could be that the logo contains the words "Solar-Kart" in some stylised fonts and the tagline communicates the merit to the targeted segment (dealers of solar ) and the message should be on cost savings and this message should be aspirational so that the company "Solar-Kart" stands out....

3 new logoes received from mikimartina....The logo's try to communicate to end-user of solar energy, the benefits such as 'Green' to end consumer. My business is not targeting end user. It is targeting users who are already aware of benefits of solar and are selling these to end consumers

With ref. to the contest, the entries received till now have failed to understand the business for which logo is being designed. B2B means a business that is selling to other business and not to end consumers. The business is in the area of solar energy and the objective of business is to bring down cost of solar energy...Please bear this in mind while designing logo. Also a tagline is required. So pls think of a catchy but professional tagline that should be part of the logo
