Hi, everyone. I need a logo designed for Ashley Baldwin Creative Design (ABCD.)
The irony, huh? Well, I'm not very good at creating logos myself, what I do create is business cards, flyers, brochures, letterheads, envelope designs, etc.

I'd like a flat, simple, modern logo-a fun business type of logo I suppose. The logo for Google Chrome would be a good example, although I have attached 4 other examples which show the type of layout I'd like and the modern simplicity I'd like.

Here are the colors that are to be used in the design.

I will need the final design turned in in .ai format.

I'm sorry the award is only $20, but that's what I have to work with right now. I'm going to have this contest run for two weeks, but if I see a winner before that time is up I'll award it on the spot. I will be on everyday, probably multiple times a day, to rate and leave feedback.

*UPDATE:

Please use all of the colors I asked for in the design. I had black as one of the colors but I'm taking that down as a requirement as this logo will be shown on black, white, and gray backgrounds. You can still use black as a color for the text, but it's not a requirement.

I'm not saying absolutely do not do this, but so far the entries I've had with “ABCD” as part of the logo haven't really been what I'm looking for. So, unless you have a REALLY awesome idea for that, please try to stay away from doing it.

PLEASE refer to the files I attached as references for your designs.

For the text, I'd like “Ashley Baldwin” and “Creative Designs” to be the same font. It doesn't have to be the same size, or color, that's up to you on what you think will look best in your design, but I would prefer it all to be the same font. Please, no cursive like fonts, or fonts that are hard to read. Here is a list of fonts I like that you could use, or you can at least use for reference if you have similar fonts that you like more:

Capsuula
Helvetica Neue
Hails R (Light, and Extra Light)
Linja
Steelfish

Again, this is to be a fun but professional type of logo.

I'm looking for more than just shapes, I'd like something unique and representative of what I do.

Also, robertjankovic, your design was a VERY close second. I went back and forth between your design, and the winning design for a while trying to figure out which to choose. Thank you so much for all of the time and effort you put in, and for being so communicative and making changes I asked for. Hi everyone, I wanted to thank you all for your entries. Since many of you posted designs last minute I didn't really get to them until the last minute, so I apologize that the feedback I left won't be able to be utilized as the contest is obviously over. There were some great entries in here, but the design that I'm choosing I know will be able to have changes made until the design meets my exact standards. As for the rest of the designs I would strongly recommend using them in other contests because they really are great. Thank you all again for your time and effort!

  There is nothing that says you can't use the same design for multiple contests on here, and there's nothing you can say or do to make me believe he straight copied your design. He fixed it, and now he's using it elsewhere. If you're seriously this upset about it go and report him, stop whining to me because it's not getting you anywhere. It's just making you look ridiculous. Go find something better to do with your time please, k thanks bye.

To all who are concerned with designs being copied in this contest I'd also like to point out two things: First of all you can seal your entries for .50 cents and the reason for that is so people cannot do copies/similar designs to yours. I left this contest open so you guys can feed off of each other's designs, call it inspiration.

Secondly, there are plenty of contests of people who need a logo redesigned and plenty of the entries on those are similar to each other's obviously and that's not considered copying.

A lot of the designs entered so far have not been what I'm looking for, and a lot of the changes I've asked for in designs have not been made. If you're not willing to make the changes yourself someone else might be willing to, and I don't see that as copying, I see that as doing the work others will not.
