I have a company logo that consists of text only. Now I need a non-text shape to accompany the existing text-logo (planned to be placed on the left side of the text logo).

Requirements:
1.) The shape must not consist of letters
2.) The colors allowed are only neutral gray (black to white) and (neutral shades of) Android Green: #A4C639
3.) The shape must be fully vector based - not pixel based
4.) The shape must have (nearly) square outline. (Think of BMW circle would be ok, Audi rings would not be ok.)
5.) File format can be AI, EPS or SVG
6.) Shape can be done in free-of-charge software Inkscape, if done well
7.) Shape must not be too complex - it should serve well as bookmark icon (favicon.ico) for browser bookmarks
8.) I would like to somehow pick "Apps" as a basic theme. So... playing with rounded squares would not be a bad idea
9.) The company now mainly sells enterprise software. The logo therefore shall show: Reliable, Outstanding, Professional... and so on
10.) The logo MUST be created by the submitter, it must not be copied or re-used from another source!
11.) Please do use only abstract shapes, not like light bulbs or similar symbols.
12.) The shape should be a little (!) dynamic. Therefore, please avoid too static designs with straight horizontal and vertical lines. Shape may be rotated, or have a little distortion.

For the contest please submit (my) textlogo + (your) shape as image... OR: If your design re-defines the whole logo (shape plus text), it is also allowed, if it is better than -but not too far away from- the original. :-)

I like to point out what I like and think about some examples:
#22 really like the 3 grays and 1 green used in the shape. But shape itself has no meaning for app development.
#51 nice to see how the logo works on black. Also I like the new font. And shape shows something outstanding. But shape uses straight lines and is too static.
#30 shape is dynamic, which I like. But bubbles in right corner have no meaning for apps development
#50 shape is nearly what I want. It uses no straight lines and is a little dynamic. But shape should make use of more variation like #22
#41 shows something outstanding in the right upper corner but shape is too complex for use as a browser bookmark (favicon)
#12 uses app icon shape which is good, and also plays with this shape in upper left corner. Great, but overall not dynamic enough.
#34 cute, but not ideal for company making enterprise apps
#38 please take care about right colors.

  It think the shape is dynamic and makes good use of the colors. But lines are too thin which makes the shape too complex for bookmark icon use. Additionally, the shape has little meaning to me. It does not speak to me. Last thing is that the font is not my taste, but that is only a small issue.

  Thanks for asking. If you define the shape to be 5x5 cm or so, it would be ok. It is vector based anyway, so size should not be a real issue.
