Design a Logo for a leading Kitchen Manufacturer

Contest Brief

We need a new logo for our kitchen manufacturing business.

Joyce Kitchens are the largest manufacturer and marketer of kitchens for housing renovations in Perth, the capital of West Australia. The Joyce brand has been around for almost 100 years. It's well known and respected, though our existing logo is dated and has too much visual focus on the graphic elements. From the street, our showrooms are often taken as kitchen equipment retailers. We want our new logo to:

• Reflect our positioning. (Reliable leaders in functional and aesthetic kitchen Design). We focus on mid to upper quality kitchens. The logo style will need to look like it comes from a design leader, yet still feel reliable. Current kitchen design trends call for clean, contemporary lines. Our logo should reflect this feel. We market direct to home owners.

• Work everywhere from showroom building signage down to business cards, without alteration. We will need a version for use on light backgrounds and a 'reversed' version for use on dark backgrounds.

• Focus attention on “Joyce Kitchens” rather than a graphic device.

Our tag line/ slogan will be separate from the logo so should not be included

We will need high res JPG and EPS files for the winning entry.
