Design a Logo for a Co Working Space

We need a logo for our co-working space. Name of the company is The Big Happy Desk Company (on domain bighappydesk). Logo can be either text based, image based or both.
Colour: Ideally, logo should be easily replicable in any colour(s) (i.e. not rely on gradients but rather use flat colour and strong clean lines). It should work in its colour combination as designed, and as a purely black and white version too.
Devices that graphically illustrate the idea behind co-working will probably be rated higher than those which don't (see Hubspot logo for example); but a strong identifiable brand is most important criteria.
Target market keywords are fun, modern, tech, networking, entrepreneur, society, social.
Important note to grab our attention:: We are big fans of Japanese graphic design styles and typography (note: by that I *don't* mean manga and kana fonts!! We like things like these dudes: https://ladron.stores.jp/#!/)
We don't particularly want to see smily faces, desks or other obvious cheese in any entries unless it's done really well.....
Example companies in the same space are: centralworking.com, hubspot.com, the-hub.com, urbanhubs.co.uk and countless others.

I'm being fairly brutal with rejections - I wish there was a way to say "reject, was nice but not what I'm looking for" and "reject, must've been a joke". So to all rejected logos that were actually pretty nice and obviously cared for - sorry you're in the same file as the absolutely *awful* rubbish you've hopefully seen and laughed at as non-contenders.
There's still a long time to go. The surviving logos so far are all pretty genuinely liked; some more than others. Once again - thank you everybody for taking part, really appreciate your time and effort!- il y a 11 ans
