Description: I am creating a digital storytelling and oral history website that is focused on collecting and sharing stories from wildland firefighters (forest fire fighters). It will host video interviews, stories, historical photos, etc. I am looking for a logo that represents wildland fire, storytelling, history, or a combination. The logo should have a clean look to it and should not represent wildfires as bad.

Inspiration: Creative/stylized flames. Trees made of flames. Trees with flames. Smoke. I’d be interested in seeing something that possibly evokes a sense of history or vintage (but not totally sold on it – I’m open to anything). No cartoons, please.

Attached are options that have been completed by other designers - but I’m not quite happy with them, so I’m looking for other ideas. I love the colors and font, but not the accompanying flame images.

Formats: Winner should provide multiple file formats with a must for PSD, EPS, and JPEG including varieties of resolutions. Please also be prepared to indicate any fonts used in the design.

Although most of the designed submitted so far have been deciduous trees, I am open to images of stylized flames, fire, smoke, evergreen or burnt trees, etc. Also, if you are interested in submitting trees, please consider using flames (with or instead of leaves) in order to avoid any confusion that the tree is simply depicting orange leaves turning colors in autumn.
