Contest Brief

We are looking for a logo re-design and are in search of something modern, clever and creative that will help us stand out from the crowd. Colour wise, we like flat colours and the old logo used a very similar blue to the one used in the footer of our website.

Knowledge of the skiing and snowboarding industries will help you design a fitting logo.

So far, we've had way to many designs 'breaking' apart the logo because of the word breaks. The word breaks in 'Custom Breaks' signifies holidays, so please bear this in mind.

Our company name is Custom Breaks and we provide quality catered ski and snowboard holidays in the French Alps during the winter periods and self-catered adventure holidays during the summer months.

From start to finish, our goal is to provide our guests with a top class, hassle free, fun filled summer or winter holiday.

    Hello robinmannering75, as you rejected our previous logos, We now created 8 new logos with no reference to skies etc . We have very less time we directly present you the ideas. If you like the concept choose us and we will be with you till a final logo is designed and kept in your site, making all changes you need. ......................................................................................................................................     Hi, We made this 168,169 symbol mainly focusing two letter CB but when observed clearly has hidden reference to snow mountains and skies .

    As you said you like a link of cleaver hidden logos, like Umbrella points - like reverse umbrella but its U and P, 3D rocket - like a rocket going up but WIth letter 3 and D , Fishy - WIth F as Fish. You can add our logo to this list .

    HI folks, I'm sorry but none of the logos being design so far suit our image. With regards to the question of symbols below, please look at all the top ski/snowboard brands. None of them use skiers, snowboarders, skis or snowflakes etc. The few that include a reference to mountains, do so very subtly by using at most a triangle really (see K2 skis). Please take a real close look at the logos linked to in the brief that are in the ski/snowboard industry. We need something much stronger than the suggestions so far. Something that represents quality or cool and trendy.

    Sir, due to 116 rejected we have some questions, just for better understanding your requirements. Do you prefer 1-lined (narrow) logos? Are you looking for 1-color logo? Do you like Sans Serif fonts? Do you have any preference regarding to font weight? Can you suggest any symbol related to your company? because we saw camera, skier man, mountains, snowflakes, braking words, welded capitals, many variations, but you didn't liked all of them. :\
