    May be we're seeing the most number of withdrawn entries in a single contest here. Last time it happened at Waterloo!

      We don't fear any legit competition and would fight till the very end. The problem is we didn't get any time to prepare in the last contest. Winner had been announced in a short period of time and the image links didn't work in our country.

    @amitroy777
    I'm happy for you that you don't fear competition. Apparently you also don't fear saying things that might not be appropriate.
    Have it occurred to you that maybe the reason for withdrawing was a personal emergency? Before I withdrew my 4-star rated designs, I sent this message to the Contest Holder:
    "Thursday, is the last day I will be able to work. My husband will have heart surgery on Monday. The clinic is out of state and we will have to leave after tomorrow, Friday. We will not be back before end October."
    The winner of the previous contest was me. You can find the banner on my website:
    http://www.tangramgraphics.com/banners.html
    It's the banner number 3.

      @ANACZ,

      Sorry to hear your problem. But why said this, "Not sure what you mean by that. You should be happy: you have less competition now." And we've never mentioned anybody's name regarding withdrawn entries. Rather withdrawn entries don't show names at all. Also, our's couple of entries in that withdrawn list. Why taking so personal. Ok, case is closed now and we wouldn't react to any comments from now on. Thnx for understanding...Wishing your husband's speedy recovery...

    Hey Guys,
    Am a rookie over here. I dont understand why people withdraw,whats the benefit they get from withdrawing their projects. If a design,is not that good and its not been withdrawn,will it affect the profile of the user, if he looses the contest or is would that be affected in any other ways. Please help me out lads.

      It was out if respect for the contest holder. Because I had to close my studio and leave and I will only be back end October or later. I did not want to give the contest holder the option of selecting one of my designs because then he would have to wait at least a month to get the high resolution file.
      People who don't know what the situation is, should be careful with how they interpret things. If your child or spouse is struggling for their life and need an open heart operation, you will not enjoy others making Waterloo jokes about it. There's is really a lack of respect in this community. It's a shame.

    Tomas, please check my 3 new entries. No stock images were used. The photo with the glove is my own hand and the construction digger is one of the photos I took yesterday at the construction site near my house. Because of this, originality of image is guaranteed - nobody will ever have equal.

      The advantage of this design concept versus all the others: there is actually and interaction between the product (phone) and the photography used in the banner. The"construction worker" is holding the product. The "mouth" of the digger is wide open towards the viewer and serves as "frame" to draw attention towards the product. This interaction creates a unique dynamic that connects all the elements in the banner to each other.

      There's a construction site near my house. I was there yesterday to take photos. Unfortunately we have not had any rain so all the mud there was dry. I'm hoping for rain because ideally I would like to use muddy pictures. We will see what happens.

    Tomas, #12 still needs to be adapted in size. I'll submit the version with correct proportions in a few hours.
    #13 is already adapted to the correct size 1800x600, according to your brief. Please note that this is not the same as in the contest brief for Q4 (1600 x 600), which I find a little bit strange... is there a mistake?
