Contest Brief

Hello to all you creative people! Our company is branching out into a new exciting avenue and we need clever people to help us launch a brand new website.

We are looking for a talented designer to:

• Design the overall look of our new website (not build it)
• Create a new logo

The new business venture is called "Joov", which is short for rejuvenation (as in anti-ageing). Our typical audience is female, aged 30 - 55.

The website will be in the form of a Magazine/News Aggregator covering news relevant to anti-ageing and beauty, aimed towards looking younger and being healthier.

Design-wise we are looking for something modern, bright and full of energy, yet clean and easy to navigate. The Joov logo design should also reflect this.

The homepage will consist of the latest and most popular articles, clearly broken down with subsections of:

• New
• Popular
• Featured Articles

The navigation header at the top should open up a new page similar to the homepage, but only carrying articles from that category. Examples of likely categories in the navigation bar:

Each article should be somehow colour-coded to indicate which category it represents.

Notes:

Once the design side is completed, we will also be looking for people to create the website--along with ongoing work. So be creative now and you may be rewarded far more than you think. The completed website WILL later on be a Wordpress website.

  From comments below: 1) Home Page 2) Blog Page 3) Example of Category Page, for example Health... but the homepage is the most important. The Category Page is not so important as I want it to look like the Home Page, but only showing articles/stories from that Category.
