Hi,

We want to gamify our affiliate program and would require three similar badges / coat of arms / logo to represent the values of our community.

The logos should differentiate in that they distinguish three different level of ambassadors. The simplest way to do that would be to use 1, 2 or 3 stars, but we encourage creative submissions.

We like the university style of badges, even if the shield is often overused. Keep in mind these badges could be printed/embroidered on clothes and apparel. We've even heard about people willing to get this as a tattoo if it looks good enough. We should find four key elements in the design of the badges

1- A phoenix, symbol of renaissance and change
2- The symbol of justice, be it the Lady of Justice, the scale or other symbols. The Lady of Justice might be a bit hard to plug in given all the other elements.
3- A lyre, the musical instrument that is said to be a gift from Apollo, it represents poetry, creativity but in a more profound way, the arts and harmony of the universe (see http://www.lyricalworks.com/home/commentary.htm).
4- An laurel wreath. It symbolizes peace, victory and virtue.

We should also find the maxim of our Ambassador program :
"Sine Musica Nulla Vita"

Our company logo should also be visible somewhere, discretely blended in the design.

We want these badges to inspire prestige, but due to the highly symbolic meaning of these badges, we don't want to see symbols like a crown, a lion or an eagle that could be interpreted as discriminatory and elitist.

The ultimate meaning of these coat of arms are to designate a member that believes and is involved in the transformation, the renaissance of music and arts in order to bring justice, virtue and love in the world.

  I took some time to determine if I should seal the contest or not and I believe this is not a pertinent expense. I will be able to determine copycats based on time of submission and real original and creative designs will stand out no matter what.

Can you specify what exactly does need to be written on the coat of arms? What do you want to see inside the badge and underneath it?

  The maxim "Sine Musica Nulla Vita" should be readable, probably on a ribbon around the bottom of the design.
  
  Saying I require something specific inside the badge would involve a specific layout of the elements, which I don't want anyone to be bounded to. Just be creative. The emphasis needs to be put on the fact this program only includes highly motivated people that are passionate about music and believe in a better music industry.

  Some examples of the elements of the badge are in the zip file attached in the description. I decided not to give a badge example on purpose since most of them use a lion/eagle/shield and I don't want these to influence your creativity!
