I have written a memoir of my grandfather's WW2 experiences, which took him over vast swaths of terrain, and many different countries.

I am looking for a piece of cover art that portrays the travels in a unique way.

This famous photograph comes to mind:

What I would like to assemble is a drawing/rendering of a fist holding up a flagpole, with the six flags of my grandfather's travels all on the pole, flapping in the wind.

The countries are, from bottom to top:

Romania
Hungary
Russia
Germany
Israel
USA

Note: nearly every flag listed looked quite different during WW2 than the way they look now (example: the US flag had 48 stars), so we'll need to be careful with historical accuracy. Here is a primer:

  Author name: Martin Bodek
  Flags: I'd like them in order along a flagpole, starting with Romania at the bottom, and finishing with the US on top. The swastika in the German flag should be obscured somewhat by folding it in the breeze.
