Contest Brief

THE TASK: To upgrade the logo, the icon and to create new button icons for application CaptureIn.

DPA is an IT solution and service company, founded in 1997 in Riga, Latvia, expanded rapidly across Eastern Europe (more info on www.dpa.lv). We have developed a new solution - an application CaptureIn.
CaptureIn replaces passwords altogether. CaptureIn doesn’t hide passwords; it replaces them for any online service. No passwords to remember or store means easier life for everyone - web site owners, banks, governments, but most importantly - every online citizen. DETAILED TASKS:

On the basis of the old CaptureIn logo, create:

1. The product logo (which includes mobile applications icon + name of the product (with the slogan and without) written in any of the available standard fonts + product logo variations for each derivative product name):

Slogan:
convenient security for everyone

Derivative product names:
CaptureIn Vote
CaptureIn Encriptor
CaptureIn Postbox
CaptureIn Enterprise Edition

2. Icon for the mobile application (basically the logo without texts).

3. Mobile apps icons/buttons – 8 pieces (use symbols describing the button function):

- 2 versions for “Capture” (with the idea that is recorded, photographed, "caught")

- 2 versions for “Identities” (idea that it shows all the identities person has made in his CaptureIn account)

- 2 versions for “Manage” (it’s something like a setting button)

- 2 versions for “Advanced” (shows more functions of application)

REQUIREMENTS:

- Colors to be used: Teal RGB 0/128/128, Gray 92/111/123, Orange 247/147/30 + black or white if needed!

- Use the existing CaptureIn logo design as the basis and provide your upgraded version of it in the colors mention above!

- Use Google Material Design Principles as the main guidelines. Logo, icon and buttons, all the visuals, must comply with the Material Design Principles!

- The keyword for this product which you could use to find some inspirations: IT security, cyber security, the passwords - nothing to steal or forget, innovative, easy, corporate, easy and secure, just scan.

  But - we are not asking for completely new logo idea or some completely new button ideas. You can use old logo and just upgrade it using the new colors and new shapes. And for the buttons you already have the colors and you just have to take some ready icons and just adjust them. So looking from this perspective - where you see this unfair moment of prize being to small?

  Thank you for all of your entries. A big part of them looks like icons you have just copied from www and big part of them totally don't fit to the brand and the aim of our security solution CaptureIn. Nevertheless maybe you could give some of your ideas of buttons - they are specified in the brief of this project!

Hello all! Thank you for you entries, part of them are really good and you have cached the idea of 'upgrading' logo. But, please, remember to read the brief precisely - we require the upgraded 'LOGO', 'ICON' for mobile application and 8 buttons for mobile application interface ( 4 kind x 2 versions). Please, don't forget to provide the ideas for the buttons either.
