Contest Brief

Hi everyone,

We need a new logo designed for our Bed & Breakfast accomodation, called: 'Bella Vista Bellingen'

'Bella Vista' is Italian for 'beautiful views'. Our self-contained accomodation is in a gorgeous country town, on the top of a hill overlooking the mountains. It is a tropical, rainforest paradise.... a quiet, tranquil, oasis with a beautiful, luxurious, quality and quite modern feel. It is also eco-friendly and surrounded by nature.
We would like the logo to have a warm, inviting, comfortable yet premium feel.

At this stage we are open about colours, lay-out etc, but will be available to provide feedback through the whole contest about what we are liking. We dont need B&B in the logo.

We would also like some ideas on a small tagline to go with the logo, something that will express that we are a tropical oasis but right within the township. Whether we end up including a tagline with the logo will depend if there is a tagline submission we are happy with.

The logo will feature on our website (soon to be updated aswell), our business cards, promotion flyers and sign outside the accomodation.

We want ORIGINAL designs and need to own the copyright.

The contest winner must be able to provide us all the necessary file formats, including photoshop and transparent background etc.

2) We are unsure of colour yet, open to all ideas so far but will give more information on what colours we like as soon as we know.... 3) We intend to make a sign out the front of the accomodation with the logo on it (on wood most likely), aswell as use it on the website, letterheads etc. At this stage we are not planning on printing onto any other items except paper.... 4) An animated logo is not necessary (if you mean a logo that moves?... 5) The words/letters in a nice font is the most important part of our logo, and at this stage we are not certain if we need a shape/image aswell. We are open to both options, so if we see a shape/symbol we like we would consider having both (but something simple is best)....

Please note though that this is an old website, and we will be making a new website once our logo is complete, so we do not necessarily want the logo to be in the stye of this website! Also the accomodation will soon be getting renovated so will look more modern and premium soon.

Hello,
I appreciate your description but I believe with a little discussion the logo will be better, I need to have a feel & look about your business website, also I have a concern about the color scheme that you really want the logo to be, do you intend to print your logo onto a particular materials in near the future as(wood, cloth, glass, mugs, ..etc) ,what about animating logo ?

and finally would you like the logo to be a letters as (Facebook, Coca-cola, Samsung, Google..etc) or shape with letters like (Apple, Microsoft, Mercedes, BMW, ....etc) ?
