This is kind of unique, and I had someone who was supposed to get this done for me but he is taking too long and I need to go to launch!

If this can be done TODAY a $50 bonus will be given.

I have a website that will have a certain portion of EVERY product sale go back to the charity I am supporting for the week.

So I have a custom field set up on the product page where I enter that total - that is done. Custom field is "donation_amount"

I need the total amount of that field to pass to the cart - but NOT BE ADDED to the total or subtotal - so the customer is not to be charged anything...it is just to show the total we will donate.

If they order 3 items, that line should reflect the donation total of the 3 items combined. So donation_amount x 3 would be calculated.

I would also like to create a code that I can use on the home page that will show a running grand total of what has been collected so far for the week so the customers and charity can see what we have earned for them so far

This amount also needs be reported in the admin so I can see a grand total that I need to donate - if it can be tied into the WP reporting system that would be great.

MUST know to do this work in child theme and not disrupt core files.
