BACKGROUND
AquaNovus was established to bring a disruptive new technology to market. AquaNovus’ patented new technology saves hundreds of billions of gallons of water each year, by eliminating the need to drain commercial and residential pools to remove Cyanuric acid and other unwanted chemicals.
AquaNovus will manufacture and market the new filtration system to save water, time, and money.
OBJECTIVE
Our identity system should portray the company with the right image, profile, look and feel, etc. For our customers (pool owners, pool maintenance companies,) our identity should make them feel like they’ve found a solution to a longstanding, annoying problem. For our distribution partners (business-to‐business pool supply distributors,) our identity should make them feel like they are working with a legitimate, professional, capable partner who delivers high quality goods.
TARGET AUDIENCE
Distributors:
Our brand must appeal to distributors, on whom we will be dependent to take the product to market. The management of pool equipment distributors tends to be ages 25-55, predominantly male. The companies are quite large, but tend to remain private, family—owned businesses, though a handful, are publicly traded.
Customers:
Our brand must appeal to pool owners (residential and commercial) and pool management companies, who will make the decision to purchase and use the product. Pool owners tend to be a higher socio—economic demographic. Pool maintenance is a predominantly labor-based industry. Management are often experienced pool labor force members who gained promotion from within. The demographic is roughly 20-50, predominantly male. Previously, the only method for removing Cyanuric acid from pools was to drain the pool. This process is costly, environmentally negative, cumbersome, and dangerous (due to collapses of empty pools.)
PROMISE
You can now forget the expensive and dangerous hassles you formerly had to withstand to remove Cyanuric acid. After performing the process, you will use less chemicals in the future and you will save money while doing less work.
SUPPORT FOR PROMISE
This is a brand new invention – it’s something you’ve never seen before. It is patented and proven in measured studies. It is environmentally friendly or better known as a “green” product.
KEY MESSAGE
Cyanuric acid and other common pool water problems have been beaten through a patented new filtration system. This is a game changer. This is a disruptive new technology that changes the science of pool management. All common water problems that would usually result in draining the pool have been beaten. Billions of gallons of water will now be saved.
PARAMETERS
For the logo, we love a detachable bug/icon if it does not work against the other criteria above. The logo should also demonstrate that we are an environmentally conscious and forward looking company. We are the water conscious company of the future. The logo should have a strong corporate look without being “too corporate.”
