Résumé de concours
I'm looking for a logo suitable to be used for marketing purposes eg. a flyer etc.
UPDATE: These new LED bulbs don't have a filament like old incandescent bulbs, Instead they usually have a plastic body covering the lower half of the bulb: sometimes smooth, sometimes with vertical ridges / fins. Examples can be found on Google images: LED bulb
The business will sell new super energy efficient LED lightbulbs to consumers and possibly businesses. I want the logo to convey the idea that this is the lightbulb of the future and that it is environmentally friendly - each bulb will last around 25 times longer than a standard bulb and save 80 to 90% of the electricity costs.
A rough sketch is attached. I've been advised that the strapline 'See the light ...' below the image can be applied under the logo where necessary so shouldn't form part of the logo. You could advise on this. The arrows were to suggest recycling and could be green in colour. Alternatively one arrow may be better, looping from the 'g' of 'Lighting' could curve round in a clockwise fashion under the bulb to meet with the 'A' of 'Advanced'. my preference is for the logo to contain a lightbulb (yellow or white ie. black outline ?), which can be upright or hanging downwards. The business name 'Advanced LED Lighting', probably not in capitals as in the sketch, could be surrounding the bulb and 'glowing' perhaps. The image should be transparent so probably in GIF or PNG format. No more than 3 or 4 colours eg. black, green, yellow and possibly one other.
I would be looking for the the logo to include full usage rights but the creator will be free to show the logo in his/her portfolio.
Once I have decided upon a logo, I will be looking for an A5 flyer to be designed too, possibly from the same designer.
Commentaire de l'employeur
“Very pleased with the final version of the logo. The designer was happy to make amendments where necessary and did so very quickly. Great work! ”
