  I think the animations are very cute. One thing that I have to think about and explore is how this design can be translated across many different emotions and scenarios. Remember, the long-term buildout will consist of a huge range of emotions, and I'm just not sure that a close-up shot of the moon will be enough to convey different things later on. For example, "Hungry" could be another theme for an emoticon.

     I see. I thought you needed just one emoticon (Happy). So you obviously want to keep always the same theme, right?! In this case moon can also be alright for "Hungry" I think but I understand when you have to face lots of other emotions. And what do you think of keeping the same style/theme but changing character (multiple-characters). For example, for Happy/Hungry etc you will have the moon and for other emotions other space "characters" like spaceship, aliens etc?thank you for the feedback though

     *After thinking about it I guess even a close up of a moon could work over many emotions . For example for Hungry could be nice if the moon ate some planets or could think of some food in a bubble speech bubble...Have a think about it and let me know :) Good night
