Design a Logo of a cartoon octopus

First Draft Octopus Logo

Here is my first draft of an octopus logo using the colors desired with a cartoon-y and modern look. Critiques would be welcome. Smaller images of the logo are 16x16, 32x32, 48x48, 256x256 (currently at 8-bit colors).
